Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback, is a self regulation training tool that enables a person to alter their brain waves (EEG). When information about a person’s own brain wave patterns are made available to them, they can learn to change them. You can think of it as operant conditioning of the brainwaves and as "yoga for the brain". Neurofeedback is also a non-invasive type of therapy that helps your brain create more optimal neural pathways for improved functioning over-time. I currently provide Neurofeedback Therapy in Montclair, NJ.
